Tall MR does not oppose me eating shellfish at all. He opposes me eating meat any more frequently than I already do.
Therefore, if I were to substitute shellfish for one of the places where I am currently eating some other kind of meat, that would be okay. I think.
And lacto-ovo vegetarians do much better in terms of longevity than people who eat meat *once a week.*

Hi April,
I continue to enjoy your posts. You've given me lots of ideas for experimentation, simplification, and fine tuning of my program. I have been enjoying eggbeaters at work most mornings post-workout with hot salsa on top and some nuts on the side. I just heat mine in the microwave in two office coffee cups. They puff up like the cutest little souffles. I can eat them fairly discreetly at my desk. Is there a reason you prefer egg whites to egg beaters? How do you prepare yours?
Also, I am a huge fan of strong flavored greens. (Actually, I love bold flavors in everything!) How are you preparing and transporting your kale salad?
I agree with your pedicure essay. It is important to treat yourself, and to enjoy longevity your feet better be in good shape! I find that I am just simply too cold (in New Orleans, if you can believe it) to even contemplate a pedicure much less walk around in sandals. This has been a bit of a downer ever since I lost weight. I bought cute sundresses and sandals, but everytime I went to a restaurant last summer I was freezing. I either ended up numb or covered up completely. I now have some nice muscles that I am REALLY proud of, but no one sees them! How do you deal with this?
Glad to see that you are over that nasty cold. Your blog is a tremendous resource for me. Keep up the good work!

April, you said tall MR urged you to exercise, while I know (see http://tinyurl.com/5wcth), Mary (little MR) said "The evidence does
not support additional benefits of significant exercise under CRON. There
appears to be no reason, other than subjectively feeling better or personal
enjoyment, to exercise for CRONies. It does not further square the curve
over CRON alone. All the studies about the benefits of exercise apply to
non-CR. I know this is hard to accept for people that have made a big
effort to exercise to be healthy. There has been a monumental effort on the
part of health authorities to promulgate the idea that exercise is
necessary."
So, my question is HOW MUCH EXERCISE TALL MR DOES, OR IS ACTUALLY PRESCRIBING?
