And The Winner Is...
No, not the winner of the auction! That goes for nine more days (place your bets!) The winner of the contest to determine what I would eat at the Cheesecake Factory!
The winner is, in fact, no one, because none of you figured it out. Okay, so it was kind of a trick question. I did a bit of advance checking to make sure I could make a modification to the menu, and the Cheesecake folk were amenable to that. So I had the Artichoke, portabello and asparagus omlette with eggwhites instead of whole eggs! It was huge!!! And quite amazingly delicious. It's very exciting to go out to a restaurant and eat a big dish and still feel good about it, CR-wise. One could choose between tomatoes and potatoes for a side, so needless to say, I got the tomatoes. Four big slices. No cheese in the omlette. Nothing but eggwhites, tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes, and asparagi. Tall and skinny, just like I like 'em. Glass of cabernet on the side. Quite heavenly.
Had a nice dinner with my friend the medical writer (remember, I met her in the airport at Thanksgiving?) and am now getting ready for bed. My cat is attempting to send email by sitting on the computer... I need to just get him his own gmail account. kieffer.smith@gmail.com? Probably already taken. How about kiefferandrew.smith@gmail.com? All of my cats have middle names. Kieffer Andrew, Philomena Mariko (named after two nurses from Cooper Hospital) and the late Katherine Christiana.
Okay, I'm exhausted and I'm telling you my cats' middle names. It's time for bed. More brilliance on the morrow.
