Picture Menu Available Upon Request
That was the sign on the menu at the Burger King I dropped into to grab coffee and use the bathroom after leafleting in the cold outside a hospital from 6:15 - 7:45 this morning. My question is: if you need a picture menu, how are you going to read the sign that says "Picture Menu Available Upon Request?"
Needless to say, I had nothing but black coffee at Burger King, and went on about my merry way.
Back to work... another long and busy day.

Awww... you didn't try their veggie burger? LOL. Just kidding. I tried one when they first came out and got violently ill!

BTW, I tried your cauliflower/yogurt dish (from your Cauliflower Head post). Didn't add leeks, as I didn't have any on hand, but was pleasantly surprised that the cauliflower was actually yummy. My husband even ate his and he didn't seem to be forcing it down (always a plus!). Sometimes things I think are yummy (or at least palatable) aren't on his list of edible items, if you take my meaning. Though he eats like a horse (no CRON for him), so he may have shoveled it in without really tasting it!

You know, that non-dairy creamer and other revolting stuff like "whipped topping" terrifies me! When someone offers it to me, I give them a very smart-assed comment: "No, thanks! I'll stick with actual cream. I'd rather die of a heart attack than cancer!" When you think it through, which is the REAL gak? Maybe MR could comment.

I am searching for picture menus of all fast food restaurants to be used for the special needs population. I hope you can help me?
