Are There Real Vegans In That?
That's what I asked the barista at the local coffee shop as she offered me a sample of "vegan coconut cake." She looked aghast and began to explain, "A vegan is..."
"I was vegan for five years," I stopped her. "I was making a joke."
Has our country lost its sense of humor? Or am I just particularly warped?

sounds like me ordering "delphine sandwich" insted of tuna danswich. Not exactly everyone finds it funny though :-) (and it in reallity isn' really fun either since it is partly true :-( ).

Hehe. You would have laughed to see the weekly stir fry night at our dining hall: the meat options were Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Fried Rice, which made one wonder why the vegetarian option was labelled Chinese Fried Rice...
