Happy Holidays to All
I'm sorry I've been unable to write... between travelling to Calgary all day Friday and doing family events with MR's family, there just hasn't been time. Thanks to all for your wonderful recent comments, I promise I'll answer your questions soon!
Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday!

Merry Christmas!
I am feeling optimistic, and excited about reading and sharing Cron with April and others this coming new year.
Things I need to improve are:
a) Cut back on alcohol consumption, this is what always brings my calorie levels up to 1500, what with that few extra glasses of wine, or beers, or coctails. If it were not for those drinks, I would easily maintain a 1000 calorie a day level.
b) Up my protein consumption, I am a person who used to eat a steak every day or two chicken breasts every day, but not anymore. I am finding meat to be very hard for me to digest to the point of me just not eating it anymore.
I have never been seriously overweight or had cholesterol problems, but I do miss my steak!
this is why I prefer sashimi (raw fish-NO RICE)
I found the raw tuna and salmon extremely easy to digest.
I am not having good results with the non-stick spray and eggwhites thing. I got up extra early in the morning to do this. The Pam spray was gloppy, and the egg whites watery and did not cook up well. These were even the good eggwhites, organic Egg-ology from Whole Foods.
I think I will have to go back to eating organic nonfat cottage cheese, although very high in sodium.
and get back to eating the nonfat organic plain yogurt, (boring).
is Tofu an option?
Thank you for letting my share this on your blog, I will try not to make it a habit to share extra long posts about myself. (it is your blog by the way)
April, I think this will be a great year!
Sheila
