Baby Pictures of Muffins
One of my favorite readers sent me a picture of herself with her freshly made megamuffin, first batch. I was so overwhelmed by the adoreableness of both the muffin and the reader that I decided to ask for more pictures of muffin eaters with their muffins and make a little collage out of them. Maybe I can put them up on my eventual site (with the sender's permission, of course.) At least I can hang them up in my house as a tribute to the warm and friendly company of megamuffin eaters that has sprung up as of late.
Maybe we can even send one to Sherm, the inventor of the original megamuffin!
So send me your megamuffin picture. Send them them along even if you buy Miss Tenacity's -- you don't have to bake them yourself to be a megamuffin eater. It will make my day!

Comments
I was reading the comments from a previous post and several people said they ORDERED (Hot Doggie!) megamuffins on-line. Could I get that website/address from someone? (YAY!)
Thanks ..... J

I've decided I'm going to bite the bullet and start purchasing from Miss Tenacity. I can't take my state of muffinlessness any more. And there's no freaking WAY I'm going to attempt to bake them. My baking pretty much consists of pulling the cooking dough out of the plastic tube and placing on the cookie sheet - and even then I'm not always pleased with the results!

I've never tried making them, since the recipe looks like such a pain-in-the-butt. I used to think - gee, I wish I could just pay someone to do it for me....problem solved! :)

Amy, hon! Have you ever looked at the ingredients on those tubes of dough? Doing so might make you not want to eat them any more... JD :-)

All you people who are fearful of the "pain-in-the-butt" process of making Megamuffins are in for a surprise. They are not that hard--much easier than baking a cake, or making homemade bread, in my opinion. And I've done a lot of both.
It only SEEMS daunting because there is such a long list of ingredients, but aside from the baking powder, none of the ingredients are "sensitive."
The hardest part was the shopping, not making them, and if you're like me, you already shop anyway, so throwing those extra ingredients into the cart is about as complicated as it gets.

I don't make the rolls-of-dough-type cookies often. Christmas. Halloween. Just the big ones where I think the kids would like a special treat. I know they're gak, but since I don't bake, they're all I've got for now. I'm now living next to a health food store (right down the road, anyway), so maybe next time I can find some kind of healthy cookie mix :-).

I actually just made my first batch two weeks ago. Yay! Usually, if a recipe calls for more than 5 ingredients, I'm intimidated. However, I decided these much talked about megamuffins had to be worth it :)
The biggest challenge for me was finding all of the ingredients - I had to visit 3 different supermarkets/health food stores and walked up and down the aisles like a lost child. Finally just handed my list over to an employee who helped.
But, here's the best part - once I got everything home and laid out on the counter, I was able to whip them up in no time. Very easy to follow and I'll definitely be keeping them stocked continuously.
If I can do it, anyone can! So so very delicious! I've been having one for breakfast every morning since I made them!
