Bigger Fish To Fry

My message to the producer of the CNN documentary on aging in which MR and I will play a very small part:

"I know that CNN's medical unit has bigger fish to fry (I've been waiting awhile to make that pun!) but do you know if Dr. Gupta likes tilapia?"

That's right, Dr. Sanjay Gupta is coming to dinner on Friday night. And he likes tilapia! Needless to say, I will not be frying it. I will be simmering it in white wine and lemon juice with a touch of garlic and pepper.

The dishes that MR's parents gave us for Christmas will finally get to be on CNN. And hopefully people will learn something valuable about aging.

It would be really funny if Gupta showed up and you all sat down to a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken for dinner.

Hi April and everybody! I've been reading this blog (and its friends) for a while, and I thought I should say hello. I'm not doing CRON, but you have inspired me to eat kale, quorn, and MORE VEGETABLES!

I just noticed that Scientific American published a special issue on "Eating to Live", with a section on CR and on anti-aging research. Sadly, it cost $ to download. Has anyone read it? Should I go look for it at the library?

I read that issue! It's definitely worth checking out, it's full of really interesting articles. And the CR article started me thinking that I may be interested in hardcore CRON, not just the disease-prevention, look&feel great CRON I thought I wanted. . .

My wife made us tilapia the other night... lemon-grilled, and it was terrific! We'll be having it more often. In fact, I'm eating the last piece tonight for dinner with brown rice and veggies.

Jeez Louise, you guys are big time now! You have a thing for Keith, I have a thing for Sanjay. Put in a good word for me!
