Blueberry Pop Tart

Okay, this is weird.

I love fruit teas. That part isn't weird. A lot of people like fruit teas. I am especially partial to Celestial Seasonings anything. Maybe it's the taste, maybe it's the picture on the box. Whatever it is, I love 'em.

So yesterday I bought Celestial Seasonings blueberry tea. This morning MR made, at my request, my usual green tea blended with blueberry tea, for Japanese Sencha green blueberry tea, with a tiny drop of pure sucralose.

It tastes exactly like a blueberry pop tart. I am not kidding. Seriously, I am drinking a blueberry pop tart, with none of the calories or sugar, and EGCG's to boot!

Life is good.

Tea: normally I don't like fruit tea _at all_ .. my morning tea is Keemun, my afternoon tea is Lapsang Souchong, and I drink them with milk, British style [milk, mind you, and 1% milk at that .. don't let anyone fool you that British people drink tea with cream, or half&half .. ]. However, Trader Joes have Rooibos tea, which is from a S African shrub, not camellia sineusis - the orange spice flavor is pleasant, and worth a try. I've been known to drink ginger flavored green tea, too. No sugar nor sweetening requiring.

I work across the street from Celestial Seasonings. What heaven it is to walk over at lunchtime for a cup of tea to try out all their crazy new flavors. Blueberry is definitely one of my favorites. Strawberry is excellent iced.

I see flavored coffees in a similar way. You get to have eggnog, french toast, desserts, etc., all in a high-potassium, high-antioxidant, ultra-low-calorie, warming, energizing beverage. Can you tell I like coffee? LOL.

Oh my goodness, I love that tea!!! I haven't had it in a while, but a couple years ago I was literally drinking a whole box of that blueberry tea per day. I like to put stevia in mine; it's a no-calorie herbal sweetner. I was drinking that tea constantly all day long and I had to pee like every five minutes because I couldn't quit drinking that tea!!!
