World's Easiest Black Bean Soup

Potluck dish, easiest in world:

However many cans of black beans, dumped, with liquid, into a crockpot or stew pot.

A few pickled jalepenos, diced, as many as your audience can handle.

Garlic powder.

If you're feeling wild, add salsa or cilantro. Or just don't.

Serve piping hot. The longer it sits, the spicier it will become.

Thanks to all for your comments... great to hear from you Caroline!

Off to the grocery shop.

I agree with Caroline, I think you're def. pretty nifty too :) Great BB recipe. My father is Brazilian so I've grown up on 'black bean anything & everything'....yum, yum, yum!

Hi April,
I love your blog and have been following for about a year now !! I use to practice CR for about 2 years and then I got pregnant, which was a minor bump in the road.. Now that I am no longer pregnant, I'm looking to start up again, and was hoping that you could offer any advice possible. I'm finding it extremely hard to get back on track, and hungry ALL the time. How should I start back up? I'm 5"2' and about 122. During CR I got down to 107 or so. I'm not feeling as healthy, but don't have as much time to plan out meals, and count calories !! Please help :)

I made this tonight with green chilies instead of jalepenos (I had a can of pickled green chillies in my pantry) and I poured in two containers of yogurt as well, and a little bit of onion. It smells great, and the little nibbles I've had so far taste phenomenal!
